Every student in the recital is in the finale dance (this excludes Adult Tap). Please see below to know when your child's rehearsal dates and times are.

Recital Costume Picture Day
Pictures will be on TBD.
Please arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before your child's photo time. The schedule is set specifically to the amount of students in each class. There is a possibility with each time slot that we can get the group picture done sooner if all students in their class are present and ready. It is assumed that each student will be present for pictures so if you know your child will NOT be present, please let me know so we know not to be waiting around for them to arrive.
If you would like to have individuals for your child but cannot make the time allotted for their class, we can try to squeeze them in at another time. Please reach out to me and I can give you some good time slots that will be easy to squeeze individuals in.
Picture day is fun but can also have a lot of moving parts so please be patient with myself, my staff, and the Uchida staff.
Do's and don'ts for picture day:

do bring all dance shoes associated with the costume

don't forget any tights and hair accessories that was issued with the costume (you are allowed to use the brand new tights but they have to be stored with the costume and saved for recital)

do bring extra bobby pins, hair ties, hair spray/gel, and a brush

DO NOT let your dancers eat or drink while they are wearing their costume

do not bring the entire family to picture day
Need to know:

Each class will take a group photo together. You do not have to purchase a group photo.

Individuals will be during each student's class time slot. If your child takes an individual photo, it is expected to be purchased.

Dance siblings can take photos together.

The photography company (Uchida Photography) will send out an email to each family with information on how to set up an account so you can choose the photos you want to purchase. Please allow a couple of weeks post picture day for them to do so.

DAB is not affiliated with Uchida Photography (but we are friends). Any photo specific questions like cost, time frame, packages, etc. need to be directed to them.

There will be no makeup picture day.
Parents:

Parents are not allowed to enter the picture room during group photos.

If your child is doing an individual photo or dance siblings are doing a photo together, one parent can stand in the doorway only. You are not allowed to say your child's name to get them to smile. That only makes things worse. If that happens, I will close the door and you won't be able to watch.
